FDA Warns E-Cigarettes Pose Health Risk
Despite its rising popularity, the U.S Food and Drug Administration warned Wednesday e-cigarettes contain cancer-inducing chemicals and other toxins, including a compound found in anti-freeze. The FDA fails to mention that these same chemicals that are in anti-freeze are also found in many of our household cleaning supplies and toothpaste. E-cigarettes are battery-powered devices that contain cartridges filled with nicotine and flavorings that turns “nicotine, which is highly addictive, into a vapor that is inhaled,” according to the FDA.
